Welcome to UIT 2025

The City and the University of Florence are proud to welcome the UIT community for the 42^nd UIT International Heat Transfer Conference, that will be held on June 23-25, 2025 at the "Spedale degli Innocenti" in the heart of the town.

Florence is known as the cradle of the Renaissance and is commonly perceived as an open-sky museum. However, Florence is nowadays a modern city, named the most digital in Italy for three consecutive years, and one of the greenest European capitals.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The Conference aims to provide scientific information to the UIT Members and to the Scientific and Industrial Community at large.

Researchers from Universities, Research Institutions and Industries involved in the Organization will provide a Forum for the exchange of scientific and technical information. The Conference will give the opportunity to discuss the state of the art and to present experimental, analytical and numerical results in recent research.

TOPICS

The Topics of the Conference will include, but are not limited to:

• Heat transfer (conduction, radiation, thermophysical properties, micro and nano scale problems)
• Mass transfer (computational fluid dynamics, multiphase fluid dynamics)
• Natural, forced and mixed convection
• Heat and mass transfer in porous media
• Multiphase heat and mass transfer
• Applications of heat and mass transfer analysis to energy systems (renewable energy systems, nuclear power plants, inverse cycles)
